Tchad Blakes favorite Pearl Jam song that he worked on was Fatal. I bet BoB's was Unthought Known.

"Regarding Blake, Gossard said, 'He was just there for us the whole time, wanting us to create different moods.'"

"Stone has this thing about writing great songs and falling out of love with them immediately. It happened with Brother and it happened with No Way and it happened with Fatal. We were all into that song, but by the time the first batch of mixes were done, Stone wasn't feeling it. Tchad Blake really fought to get that song on the record, but it was axed. Stone is kind of fickle like that." - Jeff Ament, Imaginary Magazine (2003)

See, stone is an asshole too! All these idiots in the band have horrible ability to gauge their own work.

That seems like a very illuminating interview...is that in full somewhere? Thanks.

Unless "Imaginary Magazine" is all too literal.

"...Vedder explained, 'We'd rather challenge our fans and make them listen to our songs than give them something that's easy to digest. There is a lot of music out there that is very easy to digest but we never wanted to be part of it.'"

RIP Pearl Jam
