If the M's don't make the postseason this year, their playoff drought can drink.

The last time the M's made the playoffs was Ichiro's rookie season. Do we think they will make the playoffs before Ichiro gets into the HOF?

For a few years, it's been possible to say, "The Mariners have the longest playoff drought in all major professional U.S. sports--every team in the 4 major sports (yes, even the Cleveland Browns) have appeared in the playoffs since the M's last did." This isn't actually true anymore, as we can start a new clock: the Seattle Kraken are the only other team not to make the playoffs since 2001.
