I don't speak Spanish but for some unknown reason my inner monologue voice is always in Spanish. Probably why I'm so confused about everything all the time.

My great grandfather was a German nobleman, descended from a line of colonels and generals.
Another great grandfather died while working in Africa in the 1920s. My grandmother still grew up to be an all A student, and later helped raise me.
I was named after a (semi)famous poet, who was the biological uncle, and de facto father, of my great grandmother, after her mother died. The statue in the main city square where he lived, is of him.
