I was going to try and buy every Pollard release this year, but when I saw that there were like 7 releases in the first 6 months of the year I was like "fuck it."

yeah, that cover is hilarious.

I'm reading the new Pollard bio (Closer You Are) and it's making me want to go back and start listening to everything from the beginning again.

I've never felt the need to keep up with this band, but the "Human Amusements at Hourly Rates" compilation is wonderful.

That's a great comp. 99.9% of the time I listen to GBV, that's what I listen to.
