Deftones. I feel like I should like them, but there's just too much nu-metal stench on them.

Same. Also Pavement, Tame Impala, Wilco, RHCP, RATM, I'll think of more later. But I would say they failed me, not the other way around.

I've tried to like most of these pop stars certain RMers rave about, but I find them all extremely bland.

Pearl Jam. When I was young I loved them, but I was a different person then. Within the last few years I really tried to rekindle the passion, and it didn't go well.
