Whenever I am in a swimming pool at night I am afraid there is a snake in there, hidden away in the dark water, ready to bite me
It has inconvenienced more than one romantic evening

Also went through a pretty intense period of fear of flying, which also happened to coincide with the period of my life when I was traveling the most for work. I'm over it now though.

My dog hates any PC notifications ,or the censor beep sound on tv shows. It makes him crazy, so now I'm freaked out by them, too.

Interesting. I wince every time a work call starts ringing. I don’t talk much in my personal life, but depending who it is my first inclination when the phone rings is to not answer.

thalassophobia, the depths of the ocean, when you can't see down, when you CAN see down
large sea creatures, however harmless I know they are (I've finally come to terms with how terrifying whales are -- narwhals? what's going on there), and the thought of them swimming underneath me
Google "big fin squid, T pose"
