Great thread.
I feel like there were some good RVMs in the second leg of the 2000 tour. Like Detroit/Chicago.
For some reason, 2010 also comes to mind. Maybe Boston (biased, I was there).
Those are just off the top of my head, though.

Maybe not the best, but I've always really liked the jam on this one

Any of the 2000 ones, Boise, Mansfield, and Seattle come to mind(but it's been a while.)

1994 and 2000 have some very amazing jams.
I have a very soft spot for Buenos Aires 1 2005, it was a trascendental moment for me.

Yeah, the first ones I revisited were those 2000 ones.
I think this song, more than most can provide the best snapshot into where the band is at the time.
Quebec City on 05 was great to see ditto Hartford 06. Buenos Aires 2005's is a fucking monster.

For me it’s the Seattle 2000 one that they put on Touring Band. 2003-2005 versions were epic too, but nothing touches late 2000 imo.

Boise is a good one for playlists because there's no chatter before or after the song, and there's no encore break tacked onto the end (like the Chicago '00 song), so it's just 7 straight minutes of the song.

Exactly, I got all excited when I was looking for different versions oooh 15 minutes...oh wait.
attendance bias, but san diego 2006 has remained one of my favorites over the years since. brief intro with 'never going back again' lyrics from the previous song life wasted, looong jam with 'time heals...' vocal tag and a couple distinct sections before the buildup to the final part of the main song, and a pretty intense conclusion, all lasting just under 10 minutes for what is a notably sped up version.
i'm not going to call it the best or maybe even one of the best, but for me it's one of the rvms i most enjoy.
