No, but I'm working in a house with some old people who are watching TV. I'd love to play some music, but I don't want to disturb them.

I guess I could just ask...

if only there was some way to enjoy music so only the listener can hear it. say, a portable set of contraptions that one can place in one's ears. someday, perhaps my kids' kids will be able to take advantage of such technology. but alas, here we are.

I know, but I've never found a pair of earbuds that stay in and wired headphones get caught on things and slip off my head when I workup a sweat.

There are Bluetooth headphones too.

Sometimes. A lot the time it's because people are insane and have their heat and ac set to ridiculously high temperatures.

I think it depends on how long they are staying, and what they are doing. If it's someone that is just there for an hour or less, I would expect them to just get on with it. But let's say I was hiring someone to work for a week or more (fix the bathroom, or paint the place), and maybe there are two of them as well, I think it is only natural that they feel more at home, and get comfortable. Certainly listening to a radio or something like that would be expected during the day.

Bops and bangers are child's play. But do they slap? All I'm saying is we shouldn't assume.

If they're music was going to interrupt my TV, I'd expect them to not play music.
