AI Food Recipes
I've been messing around with chatGPT this evening and thought it would be fun to see what recipes it could come up with. For instance, I asked it to create a green smoothie recipe, and the output was pretty standard, and something I'd definitely drink. Then, I typed, "create a smoothie using a baked ham."
The result:
"I'm sorry, but using a baked ham in a smoothie is not a traditional or recommended ingredient. Ham is a savory meat and not typically used in sweet or fruity smoothies. I suggest using ingredients such as fruit, yogurt, or nut milk for a tasty and balanced smoothie."
I don't know. Maybe it'll be fun. I opted to not start this in F&D because it will likely get out of hand fast.

Eggplant, Strawberry, and Ghost Pepper Cake Recipe:
Ingredients:
1 large eggplant, peeled and diced
1 cup diced strawberries
1/2 tsp ghost pepper powder
2 cups all-purpose flour
1 tsp baking powder
1 tsp baking soda
1 tsp salt
1 cup granulated sugar
1/2 cup unsalted butter, at room temperature
2 large eggs
1 tsp vanilla extract
1/2 cup buttermilk
Instructions:
Preheat the oven to 350°F (175°C) and grease a 9-inch round cake pan.
In a large saucepan, boil the diced eggplant until tender, about 10-12 minutes. Drain and mash the eggplant into a puree.
In a medium bowl, whisk together the flour, baking powder, baking soda, and salt.
In a large bowl, cream the sugar and butter together until light and fluffy, about 3-4 minutes.
Add the eggs one at a time, beating well after each addition.
Stir in the eggplant puree, mashed strawberries, ghost pepper powder, and vanilla extract.
Gradually add the dry ingredients to the butter mixture, alternating with the buttermilk.
Pour the batter into the prepared pan and bake for 35-40 minutes, or until a toothpick inserted into the center comes out clean.
Allow the cake to cool in the pan for 10 minutes, then transfer to a wire rack to cool completely.
Note: Ghost peppers are very spicy, so adjust the amount to your liking or use a milder pepper if desired. Also, be sure to wear gloves when handling ghost peppers to avoid skin irritation.

I’m also glad Jorge got out of the recipe writing game. His job would be TOAST.
Wait, is Jorge actually an AI bot?
