Ring of Fire by Johnny Cash will forever be tied to my Mum as she cranks it on repeat whenever she is having one of her pissy benders. She'll call me and often not say anything at all, just hold the phone up so I can listen to the song play. Happy to report this hasn't happened for a year or so though.

Alien Ant Farm's cover of Smooth Criminal will always remind me of my friend Ross. We listened to it about 5 times on a car ride some Friday night after our high school football game. Ross died in a car accident a few weeks later.

Not sure why it has stuck with me so much, but I can still clearly picture that moment.

nice...johnny's a boy named sue makes me think about my parents and family...it was my first concert that I was dragged to at about the age of 5 or 6

Superblood Wolfmoon dropped the same day my kid was born. I remember listening to it through earbuds as I drifted off to sleep in the hospital room that night.

Blowing out a tire on a back road cranking A Song For The Dead at about 2 am. My friends Jerrod and Melissa in the car were with.

Back in college, I might have just smoked a little too much, and I was hanging back listening to the Grateful Dead. Mexicali Blues is playing and a good friend of mine comes in and she’s bubbly and full of energy about something or other…but kind of like the way Dark Side of the Moon synchs up coincidentally wwith the Wizard of Oz, her energy was exactly matching the song, and I can never hear that song without thinking of her.
