Funko Pops make me want to die

Do you have any Funko Pops?
Whenever I'm in the US I'm shocked at the sheer ubiquity of these fucking things. They sell them everywhere -- record stores, book stores, grocery stores, they're EVERYWHERE
Just saw this tweet and the company is apparently in trouble which is surprising to me

I like them and yes, i have a few. Just two I think and a bojack horseman doll but that’s no a funko I think.
But I do hate those huge collections most people have. They used to be a cool item but it’s gotten out of proportion.

I have then a Wolverine one and a rocket from guardians one. I got my girl one from Alison Brie from Glow and a captain america one to another friend.

I have the Pearl Jam set and there’s a cool Eddie Van Halen one I want to get. Other than those I just see them as a rabbit hole to avoid.

I’ve only ever purchased the PJ set, which I regret, but I suppose I’ll sell it in 20 years to get a new set of golf clubs.
