Corduroy is one of EV's finest moments as a songwriter early in his career and maybe his best studio vocal take to start the song. the riff to start the song is only 4 notes, but by the time the he's through it a few time's your leg is shaking like you're ready to run through a brick wall. those first three chord are the sound of you breaking through the wall. its probably top 10 PJ ever.
