Do you think Kaius thinks about us?

Do you think he pauses for a moment when the screen lights up with a familiar glow, thinking maybe he saw the username of an RMer he used to know, only for it to fade like a dream upon waking, as fragile as the fleeting connection we once shared? Our posts, seeking his through the void; our laughter, a chorus of keystrokes so distant it could be the hum of a machine. Does the trace of our threads, once vibrant and full of life, carry our memories to him, as they do to us?
Perhaps we are but a flicker in his memory, a whisper of what once was, long replaced by the steady rhythm of his new life. And yet, we cannot help but cling to the hope that, in the small hours of the night, when the world is still and the glow of countless screens pierce the darkness, he harkens back to that familiar interface, and finds solace in knowing that we, too, stare at the same digital canvas, bound together by an invisible thread of memory and longing.
Do you think Kaius thinks about us? Because I think about Kaius sometimes
