One of the things that I’ll never forget is how when people would go home for the summer, the sororities all closed down but the frats remained open and about half the guys stayed. The rest of the rooms were rented by sorority girls who stayed on campus rather than going home. Throughout the school year, freshmen had daily cleaning jobs. In the summertime, not so much. It was DISGUSTING. The girls moved in anyway, cheapest rent in town I imagine. Anyway the bathrooms all had communal showers and during summer our 3rd floor bathroom became the ladies room and we had to put up curtains for them as to create individual showers.
