A fantastic write up explaining the above shorts....
I'm split. Normally I detest de-aging and bringing back dead actors with AI and CGI and various other acronyms but I'd be lying if I said this didn't give me some serious feels. As a tribute to Nimoy and a swan songs for Shatner I can't fault it especially since they aren't trying to monetize it or anything. It's the most Star Trek thing I've seen in decades. I wouldn't want a series or movies like this but as a short one off goodbye I'll allow it. No doubt someone has bigger ambitions but I'll worry about that if/when it happens. I will say while the ability to do this sort of thing seems easier and more accessible than ever I do take some solace in the fact that its not looking anymore real now than it did a decade ago. I hope they never figure out the uncanny valley.McParadigm wrote:thanks I hate it
