Vault #11 (4/3/94) is going to be on vinyl now because of course it is.

Vault #11 - Atlanta 1994

This is the third year, it's something already available has come out as the vault release. I wonder if they actually even have anything else to release.

After this one, they should be done with all this catch up, and they can release number 12.

I wish they’d put the vaults on streaming services. That notwithstanding, there are a ton of good quality shows they could spruce up and release:

Berlin 1996
A multi-disc set of all the Bridge School benefit shows
A multi-disc set of the 1997 shows opening for The Rolling Stones
Toledo 04 with Neil Young
San Francisco ‘93 where the Ten Club member made the setlist
Boston Garden in ‘94
Red Rocks ‘95
MSG 2 ‘98

That’s just a starter set.

i know that 10c memberships come with a free bootleg coupon for $9.99 or whatever, but if they offered up a free download of these vaults in addition to the bootleg coupons, it would make renewing a membership more worthwhile...to me.

not everyone wants a vinyl of these vaults.

No. They did the same thing with #1 and #2 in 2021 and 2022.

I'm not sure how we're in the 12th year of the vault program, but only 1 release behind.

i don't even understand why they're still putting these on vinyl. does that not come with an environmental impact?

what happened to them giving a shit about carbon emissions?

You know, it was their mission to rescue the vinyl record from at least around 1994. They succeeded. They can now retire from that. If they want to take a societal stand in the music industry, they can break the cycle of overly expensive collectorism.

Think about this: in the year 2001, they released 72 professional recordings of every show on the Binaural tour (save for the warmups and a show that shall not be named) for $14.99 a pop - expressly stating it was to get the music in the hands of the fans and to beat the bootleggers who were selling the shows for $50-$70 on the black market. They are offering you a chance to buy the much bootlegged Atlanta show for…you guessed it…$70 on their website plus god knows what in shipping.

i'm pretty sure the euro leg of the binaural tour, maybe even the first leg of the NA binaural tour was $10.98 per show--wildly cheap at the time.

I agree, but I wish they'd find a better way to play catch up than bumping other stuff. If they're doing this once a year, it'd be nice if we didn't go 3 years in a row with shows available in other formats.

yeah, i see that. They should get someone to curate this for sure, because the ten club is a wasted opportunity these days.

Honestly, I'm surprised this year's vault wasn't Melbourne Park, March 5, 1998, so at least they didn't do that. That'll probably be #12.

i...don't have faith they're ever going to get this right.

I wonder how long this is going to be available? I'm stressed from overpriced Pearl Jam vinyl.

Red Yield in February.
Give Way in April.
Shame in April.
Now this.

Shit, I didn't even buy the Rockfords or the new Brad album.

Some other thing for Vs.' 30th in October.
Some other thing for Lost Dogs' 20th in November.
