Create A "Dream Band" That You Actually Think Would Work...

I think the title is pretty self-explanatory. Create a "dream band" out of any musicians you'd like, dead or alive. I suspect most of you are discerning enough when it comes to music that you'd consider whether or not the band could theoretically "work."

I'll start...

Vocals- PJ Harvey (she could add in various other instruments as needed)
Guitar- Blake Sennett (Rilo Kiley/The Elected/Night Terrors of 1927)
Keyboards/Organ/Piano- Sly Stone (Sly & the Family Stone)
Bass- Derek Forbes (Simple Minds)
Drums- Mike Joyce (The Smiths)

What've you got?

me too! i have a great admiration for Florence Welsh but i dislike her music. given a different context (as when she performed Gimme Shelter with the Stones) i'm sure she'd be one of my favorite singer ever.

Yeah, her music has never really gotten to me, but I feel like in a setting such as the one you put forth she'd probably change my mind pretty fast.

Nine out of ten musicians are easier to work with dead than alive, man.
