As you may be aware, the message board experienced connectivity issues during the PJ Countdown announcements and during the Wrigley show. This has been caused by a higher volume of users simultaneously visiting the site than has been the norm. This isn't terribly surprising given the band's recent activity. We expect our next spike to start when the 2013 tour is underway, and for it to continue to the duration of the tour. The most reliable way to assure that the server does not experience more downtime due to too many connections is to increase the server's memory (RAM).

This is where your generosity would be quite appreciated. With total donations of only $150, we could double the amount of RAM for the duration of the tour. With $400, the amount could be quadrupled. If the fundraising is successful, the RAM increase would begin on October 1, and conclude some time during December.

We appreciate the visitors that we have been getting, and will always be grateful for whatever help you can provide!

Fuck it - forces conspired against me to see them at the BDO shows in 2014, so I guess in a manner of thinking that's $185 I saved. I can throw $20 of that at the servers.

Just so you know, I am manually updating the gauge. I got in the latest donations right now, but other updates may lag behind until I check in again.

You can donate at any time. If you donate after the $400 mark is reached, those proceeds will go to the general server costs, as has always been the case.
