my 70 something aged neighbors put a court on their driveway a few weeks ago..he played sports at Gonzaga..its not an enjoyable noise..he's cool though, he wears a lot of bob Dylan t shirts

i prefer paddle ball over pickleball

paddleball courts have more give to them

and there is not a weird sound

There has got to be a way to preserve the gameplay but make a ball that isn't so noisy. This would be a $400M idea.
