OK, I've been listening to this one on repeat for about five hours now, easily in my top five records of the year.

A beautiful mix of so many influences. Faultless performances alongside gobsmacking vocal execution from Winter, presented in crystal clear production that is just a treat to listen to.

I found the first couple singles promising, but I truly love Gravity Blues, I See Myself and the closer St Elmo.

Let this record into your life, RM. Bleed your love out in the hot night.

They are both playing the same day of the Newport Folk Festival. If the organizers have a sense of humor, they will be scheduled back to back.

I jumped on this because I really liked their first two albums, and dare I say the music took a step up, but on this one the vocals are horrendous.

I remember the first time I heard Geese. It was a single that ended up on Projector, and I liked it, but I didn’t follow up when the album came out. Then, I completely forgot about them until this new album.

I kept seeing clips of the free show they played last week, and liked what I heard, so I decided to check out the album. That was Friday. Haven’t stopped listening since.

It’s definitely my AOTY as well, and one of the best albums I’ve heard in the last few years. I love the vocal delivery, the melodies, the musicianship…it rules.

It's a jam. Reminds me a lot of Manitoba's In Flames.

It will get a few more tries for sure. The music alone makes it a good album, and hopefully I can calibrate my expectations on the vocals so they don’t impact the listen as much. I don’t remember that being than issue with the first two albums.
