The nightly fireworks since Friday night meant they’d really lost their luster by the actual Fourth.

our building is having a big fireworks watch party on the rooftop tonight..40 something floors that looks directly at the space needle ..I've never cared about them even as a kid..anyway, friends are coming over to watch and management brought us wristbands to get up there even though we live here and pay them too much money..thank god our dog is completely deaf now and won't freak out..I just wanted to go to bed at 9

we’re going to do the same thing we did last year. Go to our neighborhood pool and watch the fireworks from the golf course north of us.

Cops came and shut down our (illegal) cul-de-sac fireworks party. It was pretty late though, set off most of them.
Very friendly exchange until the gal whose house we were at said “ok we can start again after they leave” and one of the cops heard that, stopped his car and got pretty serious. He was not impressed and started mentioning gross misdemeanor charges. She was able to play it off and they left.
BTW my poop & fart volume/frequency today can likely be attributed to the beer last night. The smell = smoke inhalation. Smells like fireworks. So weird.
