Jack Irons in as the drummer. Matt Cameron on third guitar. Ed puts his down.

Therefore we get the groove of jack but also get the talents of Matt Camerons song writing and then possibly get some new and interesting guitar tones and keep the great back up vox.

i fully intend to honor the fact that this thread is a safe place for discussion and appreciation of Jack Irons.

Jack was the perfect blend of quirk, craft and sloppiness.

Sometimes I wonder why Boom was needed in the first place.
I mean you can't hear him during the majority of songs they play anyway

I always thought that Jack brought out the best in Ed (Who You Are, In My Tree). I would at least like to see Ed collaborate with him for his solo projects in the future. Or would Matt consider that a slap in the face? Like being caught checking out your ex-girlfriend?

Matt's got about 4 or 5 other bands, I doubt he would care that much.

I would have liked to have seen that Ed/Flea/Jack thing at Bridge School when it was announced a few years back. Shame it never happened.
