cats arent playful enough for me. we had a dog when i was very young (like pre 5 years old) but never had one since. my ex had two cats and they were nice enough. would always run to the door when they heard my car which is weird considering she lived in an apartment building and cars came and went every 10-15 minutes

How has having a dog changed your schedule? What time do you have to go out for the first walk of the day?

poor guy had a rough mid week.


all was great yesterday morning, nipping at me in the morning. actually pooped and peed outside on our walk and cried when i left for work at 6am


then about 9 he didnt follow my brother to his desk and laid on the couch. then threw up his breakfast and started shaking a lot. was at the emergency vet by 10. diagnosis was an inflamed intestine that caused the throwing up and cause he didnt drink a lot was also dehydrated.

got him home around 2pm and he slowly started acting normal. he is on a bland diet (boiled chicken and rice) and glad to report this morning he was nipping at me and bit me on the ass as i got ready for work

That's scary stuff peeps. I'm glad he's doing better. Do they know what caused the inflammation in the first place?

Yeah I have a new beagle/chihuahua mix and she is a bundle of love. But you can't stop her from eating bugs and turds, and she will get sick from time to time.

Dog owners must always have chicken and rice handy. And canned pumpkin to give them as a snack when they have the shits.
