I’ll start by describing Snatch’s friends:
He doesn’t like them, at least one of them he hates, and he doesn’t get along with their wives.
Good stuff.

I was thinking about it, and none of my best friends from growing up my whole life have kids.
My best friend from Pre-K does not have kids
My best from kindergarten has a step-kid.
I'd say there were seven guys that I was close friends with at varying points between then and the end of high school. None have kids, even the married ones.
I'd say I made two really good, close friends in college. Neither has a kid.
Am I cursed?

You should adopt a little African just to spite them.

I have a cousin who is a member of a church and that was the “fad” thing for them all to do. She already had 5 children of her own and so, in order to stay hip, they adopted a little black boy. I don’t know what the other families do, but my cousin and her family treat the little dude like absolute shit. They leave him out of family get-togethers, basically ignore him when he’s around, etc… He would’ve been much better off if they’d never adopted him and I’m sure he thinks about that every day. Poor guy.

O, I got a zoo, I got a menagerie, inside my ribs, under my bony head, under my red-valve heart—and I got something else: it is a man-child heart, a woman-child heart: it is a father and mother and lover: it came from God-Knows-Where: it is going to God-Knows-Where—For I am the keeper of the zoo: I say yes and no: I sing and kill and work: I am a pal of the world: I came from the wilderness.
