Public Transportation

I ride the bus less than a dozen times per year, usually to Husky football games and rarely for anything else. I have never ridden the light rail here.
Some routes are just basically drug dens on wheels.
On Saturday there’s this guy on the bus in pretty rough shape. He kept applying vaseline to his face. About 10 minutes before our stop at Husky Stadium he starts rolling his own cigarette. You could tell everyone else was just like “please do not start a confrontation, just let me get to my stop and get the hell out of here”
Well the lady next to him must have said something because he starts yelling at her and claiming that he’s not an asshole and then he calls her “triple middle aged” which actually wasn’t a bad way to call her “old”
He never did light up that cigarette and on my way off the bus I saw why, his tobacco never made it into the paper. He spilled it all over the front of his shirt and lap.
Anyway, yeah. Public transportation.

Was this in Florence, Oregon? Or Kentucky, Arizona, or South Carolina?
Big difference.

when i "studied" in rome my junior year of college, there this homeless guy near the pantheon that used to jerk off every friday night when the bar we went to let out. we called him the "panthebator." i made the mistake of telling my kids that when we were back in rome this past summer. my wife was not as amused as my kids were.

The experience I’ve had on Seattle light rail was a guy aggressively pacing up and down the aisles looking to disturb someone - anyone. Clearly out of his mind high on whatever bath salts they’re taking out there. But he was wearing less clothes than this guy - clearly a PJ fan..
- Spoiler: show

A guy from Las Vegas who was on the light rail with us, assured us that Las Vegas was cleaner and less issues with aggressive homeless. And I was like uhhh.. I’m incredulous. Ok sure pal, because I also can’t unsee some of the weird unholy and gross shit lurking on curbs in Las Vegas.

It’s amazing how badly one individual can make a train car smell.
