yes, it helps to view yourself as someone you care for, like a child or spouse.. would you talk to your spouse that way? would you let your child eat that?

I am lost I'm no guide but I'm by your side

I've always struggled with low self-esteem, which can sometimes break down into self-loathing. It may be too much to ask to transform this into confidence and self-love, so recently I've begun to try to transform my low self-opinion into humility. It's going ok!

I get that, and I relate. I've just grown to accept myself for who I really am. I don't need to be some great person. Decent is enough.
