that's great, off to download now

update: love the album, lots of surprises in the lyrics and vocals to keep the pretty repetitive fast punkyness relatively interesting (I don't usually go for fast fast fast all the time so other details like that, yes pls)

Ireland keeps pumping out these great post-hardcore bands!

yes because every time guitars and Black rappers come together it's "nu metal"

Bob Vylan are basically afropunk, fusing all sorts of things including drum and bass

The instrumentation is extremely nu-metal in that song. It matters not what genre(s) they're listed as in their bio.

No need to get prickly about it. I dug the song lol.

I think I could say literally anything in response to you (as long as it was basic disagreement) and you'd say I was being "prickly about it"; dig the song, don't dig the song, it isn't nu-metal

Sorry for liking the nu-metal-with-Bri'ish-rapping song, sweaty. We'll get through this.

thats pretty a weak history, seems to be a fairly new term. Interesting. I do remember the festival yes.

Wikipedia doesn't encompass exhaustive histories of anything, but it is enough to show you that Afropunk is "a thing"
