I wish this song didn't remind me of Porch, but it's a very cool song. Man I don't notice the production issues on this album until right now though and suddenly its obvious. Maybe different recordings have different mixes? the levels are weird, the guitars are tinny sounding. but I never noticed this ever before so Im confused...

Very underrated song.

"Ghost" has a backbeat that shifts around that makes the chords interesting.

"Severed Hand" is straight 4/4 all the way through, which would make it more like a treadmill.

I remember in 2006, before I even could hear a difference between a halfway decent mp3 and a wav, before I knew or even cared what clipping was, I remember remarking to a friend who asked me about the new PJ album that "well, I like it, but it's the first album of there's that doesn't have its own sound, its own unique atmosphere".

Love this song. Never really thought it sounded like Porch. Same chords but played in a different pattern.

I think that the melody of the chorus is quite creative.
Strong song.
