World's End

Post by McParadigm »

There must be a thread already, but I don't see it.

Shit, what a great movie this was. The summer's best fight sequence, effects usage, and humor, all in one. And then there was the drinking....

So it's a worthy end to the trilogy? I still haven't seen it, I'm not even sure it's still out here.

Went in with below zero expectations and hopes and was very pleasantly surprised by this when the wife and I saw it in the theater this summer

Considering the duds most of the cast has been making for the last couple of years, this is quite a nice comeback so to speak

Because the plan was to write / make three movies together, and this is the last one, which they've referred to as a kind of trilogy, because they each follow a specific formula based on movie genres that the two of them love.

It wasn't all that good, and had a much bigger cast of UK comedy stars.

Ah yes... the Cornetto connection. I'd forgotten about that.
