Alive is aight, but there’s something about the way guitar tech-shaming Eddie Vedder sings the outro chorus on W.M.A. that makes it a better song.

"Alive" hasn't been one of my favorite PJ songs for probably 25 years, and it always falters fairly early in the competition for me because so many other songs just seem so much better-written. "WMA" is a similarly impassioned performance, but in my opinion it's a better-crafted, more unique piece of music. Jumping on the contrarian train!

Alive is a classic
WMA is a slow burn. I remember hearing Vs for the first time and WMA was one of the tracks I didn’t click with immediately.

Alive is really good, but it's nearly impossible not to get a bit tired of it. Also even back in the early 90s, it was never my favorite. Still the better of these two songs.
