Grievance has cooled for me over the years, but it's still the best fast song on Binaural.

Of the girl is a cool soundscape that doesn't resolve into anything interesting for me.

I don't really care for faithfull.

Faithful easily

Faithfull has so many lovely moments, builds and touches but I'm feeling a bit more for Grievance today.

I feel that Faithfull might have the best bridge in all the great Pearl Jam bridges, and yet, I also feel that other than that, Of the Girl might just be the better song overall…I probably could be convinced otherwise but neither of these should be eliminated in the first round.

This should be like those very special episodes of cooking competitions where everyone does a great job so they have that week where no one is eliminated.

There's a thread on the main page about the most embarrassing things Pearl Jam has ever done and fair play, but for my money one of their greatest moments was the Groundwork concert in 2001.

October 22 in Seattle, less than two months after 9/11 and just a few weeks after the start of war in Afghanistan it was an interesting question of how the band would respond. And all they did is come out with absolutely snarling versions of Gimme Some Truth, Grievance, and Insignificance.

Anyway, I vote Grievance.

Grievance is pretty great live, but the album track is boring.

Faithfull is ok, but it's very over-rated to me, I have no idea why people love it so much.

Of The Girl is a nice one. I enjoy it a lot

Jeez, this is a rough match. I think I may lean towards Grievance; I love some of Eddie's later songs, but I do wish we'd managed to get a few more rock songs like this one and Insignificance out of him. But all of these songs should be moving forward.
