Re: MM 3-5: Parting Ways vs. MFC vs. Wishlist
MFC has a great second verse, and great music, with a weak chorus.
Parting ways is beautiful and lonely and a perfect ending to Binaural - musically and thematically.
But Wishlist is just about perfect. One of my favorite Mike solos

All good 3-3.5* tracks. Nothing essential and nothing that would probably ever make a mixtape.
Parting Ways.
Parting Ways.

Ugh I hate seeing MFC go up against wishlist. I love both. Wishlist is more of a classic and if forced to choose one I would go with wishlist… but I’m going to throw MFC a bone here

Parting Ways is awesome. The build into those massive power chords at the end is the chef’s kiss of album closing.

MFC
This isn't why, but it's also the first song I saw them play back in 1998.

Was torn between MFC and Wishlist, went with MFC, and saw Parting Ways was winning. I like Binaural much less than most of you <_<

Happy to throw MFC a vote here but I have no issue with Parting Ways moving on. A really great song.

As the years go by, Parting Ways grows in estimation for me. It's the perfect closer on probably PJ's best second half of an album.
