Rival is probably Binaural's best song, and probably Pearl Jam's most overall menacing track without being showy about it.

Faithfull is best at nothing.

IM riding Binaural all the way till i die even though i think Faithful is better.

But i gosh darn love Rival. What a gem of a song and something they will never write again.

This is how i feel about a majority of the rockers on Binaural. The way they are written are menacing/intense without havin tto be showy about it (particularly the production, sorry)

I love both. The description of binaural rockers as menacing without being showy is very apt. Faithful is one of my all time favorite PJ songs. There is never a time when I don’t feeeeeeeel the bridge of Faithful (probably my favorite bridge in any PJ song not named Corduroy). Man I love faithful.

Rival easily. Faithfull might be the second most overrated song by PJ fans. It is nice but eh.
