Real estate deal gone sour. Alex was looking to buy a home, Tommy recommended a fixer-upper to Alex assuring him it was a steal. After Alex bought the house, he discovered severe issues Tommy had conveniently omitted, despite likely knowing them given his profession. Feeling duped and facing a financial sinkhole, Alex accused Tommy of exploiting their friendship for profit, igniting a bitter feud that divided the lowercasers community and turned former allies into sworn enemies

he can be a real "pain in the neck", so to speak, but he's generally a very nice fellow.. just don't piss him off

sometimes i regret not being willing to talk only about movies. if i did, i still might have Tommy in my life

It's really nothing. I used to text with Lenny and Alex, but I stopped because Alex would never engage sincerely and he freaked out. He signed me up for tons of spam around Christmas (thank God for Google's great spam filter) then PMed me a long apology which I ignored and then spammed me with PMs for a week or two, which I also ignored.

Personally, I find the whole thing pretty pathetic, but he seems to be enjoying himself so whatever.

Without going into too much detail, my experience texting with Alex put me off texting with RMers in general.

Anyway, that's all I'm going to say on the matter. I've had Alex foed since he came back and I'm not going to engage with him beyond this post and the last one.
