Shit, this one really hurts
Big Wave: Great jammy b-side that had zero business being on an album. The lyrics would be fun if this was on MOM 3
Save You: Probably my third favorite song on Riot Act. Great weary inversion of Habit. For an album that mike has a huge footprint on it's surprising there is no solo at the end but I don't know that it would have improved the song. Instead we just get eddie's strangled 'help yourself', which doesn't quite offer a full catharsis, but that's faithful to what the song is trying to do
I Am Mine is my favorite song on Riot Act. I love the vibes, its questing and reflective discovery, the subtle shifts in the chorus, and that transcendent final solo. Hideously underrated
But WWS was a top 5 pearl jam song for me for a number of years. It's not anymore, but god it was the song I needed in 2006. I still love how it dances and seethes, how raw Eddie sounds, and the run from 'Another WAAAYYYYY through the end of the song.
Vote for WWS, my favorite song in the bracket, probably. But I Am Mine is top 4

Big Wave. A fun romp when it’s absolutely needed in this album, and doesn’t fall prey to anything like Supersonic does a few years later.

Although I think it would be my vote anyway. A lot of these others have dimmed a bit for me over time, like them all though I do. “Big Wave” is a bit like “Smile” in that it consistently repays more than it demands — a simple pleasure, no conceits or pretensions, just a catchy ditty about life as a crustacean in an underwater nation.
