Out of My Mind vs. Undone vs. Fatal vs. Gremmie Out of Control

We got Fatal in Missoula

I saw Out of My Mind live, but Fatal is really just too good.

Undone is just shy of a five star song. Easy vote.

I appreciate Gremmie now for what it is. Not sure when that shifted over. Probably the same time I let Mankind into my life. But I resented it for not being a 'real' song for a long time. For a while Black Red Yellow was about as playful as I'd allow pearl jam to get.

Fatal is an okay song. Pretty overrated. The lyrics are okay. The hushed performance would be more compelling if the lyrics were better. The music is okay.

Whether it's an improv or a half finished song or whatever it is, I genuinely love that b-side performance. I'd take it over more than a few studio tracks

Undone. I’ve gotten it twice including the first time it was played.

Undone is very good but Fatal for me. Why are all of the Binaural outtakes better than a lot of the actual tracks that made it on the album? At least in my opinion.

That sound would be perfect for modern day Pearl Jam. I hope they return to it some day. But I don‘t believe it.

Undone might be in my top 20 Pearl Jam songs.

Fatal

Fatal does suffer a bit from not translating super well to a live setting (the arrangement in the studio is just too intimate for an arena and Eddie Vedder's penchant for over-singing now). But I have very vivid memories of putting Lost Dogs disc 2 in the CD player of my eclipse on freezing cold mornings and it just worked.
