I’m with stip, specifically the Singles soundtrack version, which is thee version. All these efforts to play with this track are unnecessary, except for Unplugged, that’s great too. And this song rips live too. Cold Confession is good, and 90% of the way there as a song, which is why I think it is so alluring. It has that sense of mystery on what the final product could be, as if it would be on Vedder’s version of Nebraska, but all that being the case, SOLAT is essential Pearl Jam through and through.
