4 stars on the anticipation scale. Could be a really beautiful song that captures the road weary beauty eddie can bring to his voice. I like the lyrics we've heard thus far.

This could be the first song so far that I really like.

easy 4, on a par with DM

I think some slightly more robust songs will make the more cloying Something Special easier to stomach; it's all about proportion for me, I can cope with light cheese, I just don't want an album full of it

Ed isn't trying too hard to do anything here, he's just singing. I like this Ed vocal style much better than anything we've heard so far.

Give me the strong, stinky cheese

Oh, that.

But can’t you hear it? Ok, maybe more Tom Petty than Bruce, but still, somewhere in that ballpark.

I don’t like it.

there's still some of that Backspacer "hyyyeeeaaands" "plyyyeeeaaans" (or whatever the lyrics are) in his voice but meh, don't care, anticipation up
