The GoW trailer is what kicked off the trailer music trend though. And it has never ended, and will never end. It will last forever.

It was interesting for like ten seconds, then quickly became played. Now it’s cringe.

I was in a meeting a few weeks ago where they were showing us a new commercial pitch, and it was all gonna be based on a slowed down pop song (they were trying to get radiohead's Creep or something older, I forget which one.)

Everyone was excitedly pitching different songs and I was scowling in the corner and wanted to say "how about we not do that stupid shit" but I didn't say anything.

What’s worse - the slowed down covers, or this approach?

Seems out of place.

Aren’t all of these? Kinda the point.

Some of them are comically on the nose I think.

Sometimes I enjoy these ironically.
