"Time Didn't Heal Anything."
The new and impressive cast includes Jodie Comer, Aaron Taylor-Johnson, Ralph Fiennes, Jack O'Connell, Erin Kellyman, and the returning Cillian Murphy (while he's not entirely confirmed to star, he will be executive producing and is expected to make a cameo appearance at the very least).
However, none of these confirmed stars may be the movie's lead. During an appearance on Mythical Kitchen's series in which guests eat their last meal, Aaron Taylor-Johnson seemingly revealed that 28 Years Later's lead is a 13-year-old actor named Alfie, not any of the major stars confirmed for the project so far. Taylor-Johnson was discussing his instinct to look out for a child actor after having been one himself when he casually revealed the news. Read his full comment or watch the portion of the video below:
I just done a movie, 28 years later, with Danny Boyle and the lead is this young lad Alfie's 13. I really took him under my wing and, and, and as did Danny. And we took care of him in a way that was like, I remember being that 13 year old. But I didn't have someone who took me under my wing.
Trailer coming soon.

Hmm. I think I read that it was filmed on a phone to show the quality of iPhone or whatever they used for it, not to do it as found footage? But I'm probably way off or thinking of a different movie. I'll try to find/remember my source!

yeah, a phone doesn't immediately mean found footage ("Unsane") but I'm just hopeful

this trailer is a work of art, 28YL just became my most anticipated movie of next year, and I'm tired of Zombie movies

I'm excited for this, but I hope Cillian isn't just a cameo. Doesn't seem right.
