My wife and daughter watch a Youtube livestream of a camera in Venice beach all the time, and saw the fires on there. Then we started looking at other YT live feeds last night and wow, this is a terrible situation.

Fires are heading towards Hollywood. Would be sad to see the Whiskey or Rainbow Rolm go down.

I don’t understand why these fires are so much worse than previous years despite socal not being in a severe drought this year

I felt that Malibu was rather brown (beige) and ugly tbh. Place looked like a big mudslide waiting to happen. Maybe more so now.
