Question for collectors about a promo CD

Post by zoe1271 »

I've been looking for this CD for a while but I can't justify the prices, especially because it's not clear what versions/edits of the songs are on the promo CD. If you have this promo, can you tell if these are the album versions or the single versions? Does Black fade in or is it a clean, full intro (without the end of Why Go running into the intro)?

I have this version of Black and it's a unique mix, with Eddie's "Ayy..." over the guitar intro:

Any info on the Jeremy/Black promo would be greatly appreciated!

Try the PJ Bay group on Facebook. There is a serious collector there that has pretty much every promo cd release and has been selling off a lot as of late

Thanks for the tip. I've never heard of PJ Bay before and I'm not on FB. Might be time to join.

Look for Kev Sewell and Paul Dalowsky.

There’s nothing they don’t have. They have everyting.

They’re both pure gentlemen. Lucky to know them and have gigged with them.
Their PJ collections though. Holy fuck. I’d say majority of it is stuff even engaged pj fans aren’t aware of.

Do either of them have the complete Christmas singles promo CD's?

Because it exists and it is still being hoarded.

Complete Xmas Singles promo CDs? Never heard of it! Got any info? I have the “Christmas Singles” single CD-R promo. Some of the tracks are needle drops while others seem like straight digital versions.

jackoman wrote:I’ve got that promo CD and just checked it - “Black” has a clean full intro, no fade-in and no overlap from “Why Go.” It’s not the same mix as the one with Eddie’s "Ayy..." either. Pretty sure these are album versions, but I’ll double-check later just to be sure.
Thanks for the info. Curious to know if Jeremy is the album, single or video version.
