First season was really good. A little more surprises than your Angel Has Fallen/liam neeson movies.

the second season starts almost immediately with the action. Gabriel Basso plays a very convincing lead and the secondary characters you can invest yourself in . it is a lot of cat an mouse and who is on who's side but with what i think is better writing and acting than you'd expect.

the premise from the first season is peter sutherland is removed from FBI field work and is stationed in the White House in the basement where he waits for a phone to ring that never happens. Until it does. the phone line is for FBI agents who are compromised and help is sent ASAP. as one would have it peter leaves his station to help out the best he can. turns out that it all leads up to a plot to kill President Michelle Rravers (played by Kari Matchett)

the second season picks up with President Ravers reinstating Peter to field work in thanks for saving her.

I tried and failed to get through two episodes. This seems to be popular. What am I missing?

Still a great season. was still able to keep some plot twists and the death of characters you were not expecting.

Season three? I thought the new season was the second one?

Never mind, I'm thinking of the Night Manager.

i liked that one too but apparently not enough to remember it all since i cannot recall much of it. I just remember the brother didnt want to leave and possibly was killed
