yeah this is the stupidest sport ever, i'm not even going to pretend to like it.. this man's face was permanently disfigured after this one

My nephew competes semi-professionally in this. It's insane. He let me slap him one time as hard as I can and he didn't even blink. I'm in love with him.

This doesn't really seem all that different from boxing in terms of violence and wrecking your face. Less violent than MMA where people try to literally break each other's elbows.

The number of CTE inducing slams to the head are much higher in the slapping. In the other sports contestants are actively defending themselves from such blows

Dana White (UFC prez) invested heavily in this shit (Power Slap). You get bombarded with ads for it on every UFC PPV. It's so embarrassing. I think the lack of defending is the worst part. And the "combatants" are all fat regards. I hate it.

Yeah, as soon as I posted that I thought the same thing. Just standing there to get knocked upside the head is about the dumbest way I can think to live your life. This is the kind of sport that should exist only in Idiocracy.
