I bumped into a friend's mother at the train station today unexpectedly and had a pleasant conversation

Some old people have great simple wisdom and perspective to share

My kid had the confidence to walk into school without me this morning. The pride across her face melted me.

Of course first term is winding down, so after a couple week school break, I’m sure we’ll be back to square one on that.
