Let Me Sleep is such a sad song - touching, affecting, and somehow manages not to preach despite being preachy as hell.
But Present Tense is a capable S statement.

it's a song about being homeless on Christmas, and that is inherently intended to make you think about your privilege, and what really matters, but Eddie makes it small and intimate
