Nothing As It Seems vs Setting Sun

this is a great matchup. As good as the atmosphere (and Mike) are in NAIS, it can't match the emotional sweep of Setting Sun

Setting Sun is good but overrated. NAIS here.

I probably post this in some form every year, but in 1999 I caught the Bridge School bootleg before NAIS was a single. It was the first time in a very long time that a Pearl Jam song completely blew my mind - something I never would have expected from them and not only was it that, but it was pretty quickly one of my favorites and still is. It’s also some of the best playing Mike has ever done - the bridges are so emotional and powerful, and Ed’s muted vocals fit the mood so well.
