I know I joke about my love for “In the Moonlight” but it really is one of my favorite PJ songs. I remember sitting in the cafeteria of my community college when Lost Dogs was new, trying to study but just playing that song on loop over and over, peoplewatching, reveling in the atmosphere of the song and trying to make sense of the dense, weird lyrics. Lost Dogs and “Man of the Hour” were really the last time I had that deep, mysterious connection with PJ’s music, being the capstone on those epic Epic years, in the fall of 2003. “Who Ever Said” rocks, but it doesn’t tap into that same feeling for me.

In The Moonlight is law, and should only be played live whenever Josh Homme is available to sing backup.

the extended bridge on Who Ever Said is arguably the best moment on gigaton outside of the Dance outro

Love both, but picking In The Moonlight. Totally perplexed why this didn’t make an album.

Love both these songs, but Who Ever Said has sneakily become a highlight of Gigaton; as an opener it's a great statement for what that album is trying to do. But I wouldn't be unhappy with either song advancing.

As with may other elections, I don't like either enough to cast a vote so I won't.

If someone wants to switch their vote to help push "In the Moonlight" through, I'll gladly offer up my vote in a future non-"In the Moonlight" related tiebreaker.
