there are two easy matches, and this is one. Last exit opens their best album, is their best opener, and is the first song I saw live.
hail hail is a fine song with some great lyrics. but it is outclassed here

Last Exit. I love Hail Hail and at this point it’s like Top Chef or something choosing from multiple great dishes.
Last Exit is a song, 30 years later, that still gets better every time.

This is close to becoming a Vitalogy tournament (+ 1 vs song). Undeserved. Good songs, but not the best from Pearl Jam. Only Hail Hail can save the tournament.

I like these songs about the same amount, and think they're both among the best PJ has to offer. I voted for "Hail Hail" because I like the bass line better
