Brag About Something

there are many threads where posters can discuss topics and share about themselves

perhaps it's a travel plan or a food preference

perhaps it's an athletic or artistic activity

and a brag is implicitly inserted within the cloud of discussion regarding the topic

this thread

this is not a thread for implicit bragging

no

in this thread

RMers explicitly brag about themselves

no need to mask brags within discussion of activities or expressions of preferences

in this thread

you just tell us point blank why you are better

I was front row at a Michael Ian Black standup show last week. During the set, he asked my wife and I how long we'd been married, and was dumbfounded when we said 18 years. He said we look like "children," then proceeded to talk to us for like five minutes, even making us stand up for the crowd, and ended with, "I love you guys." Have been buzzing off that experience since.

You do look youthful. Must be all the Blu-ray.

This is great. Although it'd be nice to gain this kind of satisfaction without having to go to a comedy show. Beggars can't be beggars I suppose
